This is a special belated sabbatical post for my husband, Saavan Patel's, 30th birthday. This birthday was extra special because we got to celebrate with his family & friends in Boston. *I* got such a special gift on his birthday. Several of his family friends gave me physical photos they had of Saavan from ~29 years ago. These are not films that were recently printed. These were photos that were printed almost 3 decades ago and kept in some photo album. They dug through everything to find these specific photos and gave me the copies to keep. How special is that?! 😭 Check out the timestamp on pic 4, it's from his 1st birthday in 1995 🥺 To make things more special, we got Dr. Patel's printed doctoral thesis!! How cool is it to physically hold the work Saavan did for 6+ years of his life. I hope he's as proud as we all are of him. You're so so so loved @saavan94.
