Teams were duct-taping spreadsheets onto Confluence to manage structured data—no number fields, no dropdowns, no native answer. I led the 0→1 product development for Confluence Databases from Beta to GA, shipping a new primitive to 8M+ users. We doubled adoption, lifted retention 40%, and earned a US patent.
